We are at the hospital now. Glenda has been here since about 5:00. Looks
like she is goinh through preterm labor. We are not sure what caused it so
they have her hooked up to an IV because she is slightly dehydrated. They
also gave her two shots of terbutaline, so it is now a waiting game.

We took Mom out to celebrate her 70th birthday.  We had a great time and she really enjoyed it.  Happy Birthday Ma!

Changes to the Apartment.

So we have started with the Apartment reconstruction. As you can see in the pictures below we have taken down the wall, reran the electricity and installed a double door from the bedroom to the living room

We are at the doctors for an anatomy scan. So far the news is good. The
fluid on the babies brain has gone down into the normal range and it is
looking real good. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, Lord knows
we needed it. Keep us in your prayers we have less than 100 days to go.

Jamaica Vacation

We just got back from the Burnett Family Reunion in Negril Jamaica. It was an awesome trip. We had great time and learned so much about home. Pictures will be posted soon.

Changes to be made.

Hello again. The wife and I decided to instead of looking for a new apartment so that we can have a baby room ( 2 bedroom apt.). We are going to maximize the area we currently have. We have a 1 bedroom apartment. A friend of ours drew up a map of the changes we can possible make. God is on our side and I was able to get the approval from our landlord to take over another room that is adjacent to our apartment. Now because of the layout (I will post a floor plan soon) We are planning to knock down the walls between the rooms and convert what would be a small 2 bedroom apartment into a larger 1 bedroom with a space for a baby nook. That way we will get more space to expand to make it more comfortable and add to the value of the area.
will update when we start the changes for now we are focusing on de-cluttering ( OH BOY)

What the hell?

Ok we went to the Doc last week thurs. Found out that my wife is really 8 weeks so that pushes the due date further out to Dec. 5. I also heard the heartbeat of my child that was cool, so far my wife has been sic as hell, all her senses are heightened so she can smell everything makes her nauseous and she sleep all the time now. I knew the first trimester was going to be tough but I just never imagined it would be like this. This is just another reason why I'm glad I'm a man, thank God. But all in all I'm trying to be as helpful as possible so she can be comfortable.

Guess What?

I guess congratulations are in order. I just found out that I'm going to be a father. Quite a surprise didn't really expect to be one this early in then year, really wanted to wait until later in the the year but I'm still happy and really looking forward to it. I had a feeling this was going to be our breakout year but was hoping it would be the move first. I think we will be great parents and I'm very thankful that the Lord saw it fit to bless us now.

Family Reunion

We recently had a family reunion dinner with my cousin Paul's family. We have not seen each other in a couple years. The dinner was at Marsha and her husband Juniors home.

Vacation coming

God I need a vacation so bad. Well the wife and I are going on a road trip to Canada to visit my brother and his family. It is long over due, I just need a break...... We are going to just hang out for a few days and just relax. It will be good to see my old friends and especially the family. Friday can't come soon enough!!!!!

Hello, again

I'm back. I haven't blogged in a while and will be trying to do it more and more.

I'm going through a situation right now with my church and some of our beliefs. We are Church of God 7th Day. ( Sabbath keeping, not Adventist).
There are some things that we do that I have an issue with because they do not seem scriptural. I've done some research on the issues and can't find 1 scripture that condones it. I won't say what it is yet because I'm still researching, But will probably do so in my next posting.

But for now pray for me that I find what God wants me to find and make the right decision accordingly.
